Overboard.
So, this weekend was a little crazy. My brother had his 6th Annual Seafood Fest. This is a fraction of what was left over. We made lobster bisque, lobster salad, picked lobster and crab for freezing and on and on. We hate to say it but if we don't see lobster again for a long, long time, we will be okay.

On a lighter note, this is how the new week started out.
Fresh, local heirlooms, organic avos, roasted reds, organic baby greens, mesquite turkey and highly delicious flaxy, sprouted, many grain bread.
Is this is a food blog?
No, just "a love of pretty things" blog.
Friends With Gardens
I am a lucky girl. I have many friends** with successful gardens. It's mighty shady where I live and full of deer, skunks, turkeys, coyotes, foxes, possums, woodchucks, etc. etc. so, we don't bother.
It's good to have friends** with green thumbs. **Thanks Amy, Justin and Elijah.

The past week (or so) has been all about R&R...

Time away with family and my very oldest friends has been amazing.
