Its Shaping Up Around Here
My Ever-Evolving Site
Again, being a ONE-PERSON-SHOW, it takes a while to get things up and running sometimes. I have posted some new clothes and accessories on my site and on Smashing Darling. Have a look.
These days...
... a little glimmer of light goes a long, long way.

Happiness is the greatest paradox in Nature.
It can grow in any soil, live under any conditions.
It defies environment.
It comes from within; it is the revelation of the depths of the inner life, as light and heat proclaim the sun from which they radiate.
Happiness consists not of having, but of being; not of possessing, but of enjoying.
It is the warm glow of a heart at peace with itself.
A martyr at the stake may have happiness that a king on his throne might envy.
Man is the creator of his own happiness; it is the aroma of a life lived in harmony with high ideals.
For what a man has, he may be dependent on others; what he is, rests with him alone.
What he obtains in life is but acquisition; what he attains, is growth.
Happiness is the soul's joy in the possession of the intangible.

Behind the Scenes...
Sita Sings the Blues
Could not sleep last night for some reason (I know?! Those of you who know me know...I SLEEP)...So, I put on channel Thirteen/WNET New York - our trusty public television station and I was entranced by this magical, animated, visual feast - SITA SINGS THE BLUES.
This is from the New York Times last month ...
"WHAT do a 3,000-year-old Sanskrit epic, a ’20s-era jazz singer and Indonesian shadow puppets have in common? They’re all part of the eclectic cultural tapestry that is “Sita Sings the Blues,” an 82-minute animated feature that combines autobiography with a retelling of the classic Indian myth the Ramayana, and that required its creator, the syndicated comic-strip artist Nina Paley, to spend three years transforming herself into a one-woman moving-picture studio...{more}"
I can't believe how incredible these images are?! LOVE THEM.
